Each pair of LUST cycling shoes starts with a complete over-the-ankle custom cast of each foot. This ensures the finest custom fit and provides an opportunity to make adjustments specific to the rider’s foot type.

The custom cast is formed into a last around which the shoe’s carbon and Kevlar shell is hand-built with a specific lay-up schedule. Then posting (tilting) and leg-length discrepancies are built into the cleat platform for further corrections.

Because each shoe is built on a replica of the cyclist’s own special foot, the sole of the shoe wraps around the sole of the foot and forms the arch support and heel counter—cradling instead of pinching the foot. The “D” loops for the straps are integrated into the shell of the shoe as well, eliminating pressure points usually located below traditional shoes’ “D” loops.

Along with the comfort of a custom fit, LUST shoes provide a superior interface—and incredibly efficient power transfer—between rider and bicycle.
